  • Greet anyone with confidence. "Olá," "bom dia," "boa tarde," and "boa noite," plus "por favor," "obrigado" / "obrigada," and "desculpe," the words that open every interaction.

  • Order like a local in a café. Use "queria" (I'd like) to ask for a "café," a "bolo," or a "cerveja," and handle the basics without switching to English.
