Portugal has plenty of beautiful beaches. Thus, it is unlikely you will get to visit them all. Some have long stretches of sand, while others are smaller by the cliffs. So, choose the ones you want to go to and focus on those.
During the summer, the heat in Portugal is scorching. Hence, prepare your clothes accordingly, take a sun hat, and always apply a strong sunscreen.
Arrive Early
Especially during the summer, the beaches in Portugal are among the main tourist destinations in Europe. Hence, you can expect to find most of them full. Our advice is to arrive early and ensure you get a parking space close to the beach you are visiting and a good place on the sand.
If you prefer the sun loungers, try to rent them beforehand. Some hotels also have private beaches, so you can ensure the number of loungers you need and a sun umbrella or parasol.
Take Food and Drink
