Free Audio Course – Lesson 6

Another edition of Portuguese With Carla Podcast, another free lesson on European Portuguese.

This week we bring another guest to help us out. Over time, different accents, and different voices with varied tones and rhythms will help you grasp the spoken language more and more easily.

Enjoy!

PS: We used to include an exercise on this page, but it turned out to be a little too difficult for most folks at this early stage of their learning journey, so we got rid of it for the time being. 😉

  1. Olà, Carla, Marlon! Loved this episode, muito obrigado! The outtakes at the end had me in stitches, your laughs are really contagious 🙂 Now onto the exercises… er… epah!!!

  2. I think the quiz was very hard to understand. Because it was so casual and fast for a new learner. But it helped me to understand how fast you guys are talking 😀 ( I meant portuguese people 😀 )
Anyway, your podcasts are amazing. Muita obrigada a todos 🙂

  3. Even with the blanks filled in, I wouldn’t have understood anything. I only heard “”dish, fish, ca dentro ”’….rins,…figado””
    Alem disso, entendi nada………

    1. It’s tricky we agree. The value in this sort of exercise comes when comparing what you got (even if little) to the correct transcript. Specifically, it helps you identify sound patterns.

  4. Hi guys, we really appreciate these lessons, we do them every morning with our coffee. You guys are lots of fun so thank you for teaching us and brightening our mornings!

  5. Thanks again for your very helpful lessons!

I think there’s a typo in the script: “Muita obrigada” should read “Muito obrigada”, unless I’m mistaken.
